# Wacom Pro Pen 3's problems

Discovered issues on Pro Pen 3.

{% hint style="info" %}
This page is a working in progress.
{% endhint %}

There are 3 problems that have been discovered on Pro Pen 3:

* Inaccurate lines with fast strokes.
* Low pressure drawing problems.
* Broken buttons in the early batch production, were fixed with the new rev.

{% hint style="warning" %}
The overall quality of Wacom Pro Pen 3 is still very good, just not as good as Pro Pen 2.

This is to highlight the problem with hope that Wacom will improve the issue over time.
{% endhint %}

## Inaccurate lines with fast strokes

Pro Pen 3 is having issues with fast strokes.\
The cause is unknown at the moment.

My own tests

Wacom Pro Pen 3 with Movinkpad 11

The pen has random jump to 0 pressure at low IAF, making unstable lines.

## Broken buttons in early batch of production

* Wacom moved the factory to Vietnam and is manufacturing the new revision that has fixed the broken buttons issues.
* Check the country of origin is just a convenient way of knowing the revision.
* You can check the country of origin by removing the upper cap of the pen.
  * "Made in Vietnam" = NEW revision.
  * "Made in China" = OLD version.

(more info will be added later.)
